A Good New Year to you also, Reiko and Bondservant.
And a Good New Year to you, sir.
Awww….. I wish I looked that good in a kimono. Maybe if I laid off the sake? Happy New Year.
Reiko looks so cute dressed for the new year! Happy New Year!
It was fun working the AI prompts to create a traditional setting for a dog wearing a kimono. I could almost hear ChatGPT questioning my sanity.
🤣
I’m sure you’d look great in a kimono but they really are a hassle. If you’ve ever had the chance to really study high quality kimono up close the workmanship and fabrics and dye work is stunning.
A good way to start the year…a puppy high on sake…..
hahah. Helen–your comment always crack me up.
Not only slurring her barking but totally unable to pronounce her “l’s.” Rorripops and rots of ruck.
Reiko looks adorable. I hope she tidied up the house in time for the New Year.
She said she was in charge of creating messes and I was in charge of cleaning them up. Division of labor.
Cute and smart, too. She is going places!
Yeah, if she keeps destroying the house she’s going into the backyard.
Now THAT’S the way to start the new year, Queen Reiko!
You remind me of a Julia Child quote… “I cook with wine, sometimes I even add it to the food.” Ha! 🤪
Hap Hap Happy New Year to you and your Doggie-Daddy! 🙂
(((HUGS))) ❤️❤️❤️
Happy New Year back at ya. Right after the photo, Reiko destroyed the entire Japanese scene.
Ha! and Oh, my! 😉
What a beautiful picture. And we can hardly wait until that is really Reiko wearing clothes and posing for the photo. Paws crossed it happens in 2026!
Don’t tempt me. Max the Maltese had 100 costumes and hated every single one of them. I have this thing about dogs and silly costumes. Reiko will someday learn that, I hope.
Tell us more about this tradition of decluttering/cleaning. How thorough does it have to be? How long does one have to perform it? I’m asking for a friend. Well, more of a roommate, really. – Murphy
Well, Murph, Osoji starts around the 28th of December and is fanatical about cleaning everything in sight or out of sight. It has to be finished by midnight on the 31st but practically speaking it gets done earlier so other preps can take place. Good luck on your crusade.
Do the boxes that have been in the back of the closet since you’ve moved get included?
