Hard question.
The Mauzer, who is getting a bit heftier, has decided to nap on the back of the sofa any time I am out of the house. That’s also the side I sit on.

Whichever she decides is left on the day…..
Napoleon likes the back of the recliner I use when my back is giving me gyp….but only if I am using it, so I have paws either side of my head, a tail lashing my ear if rash enough to speak to him and snoring in the other ear if leaving him in peace.-
That’s because the pooch has been reading quotes made by his eponym:

– “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”

It’s good to be up high to survey the Queen’s domain.

I think she does it so that no one (me) can sneak up on her. Problems are 1) she’s deaf so she can’t hear the garage or back door open and close and 2) she falls asleep while waiting. So big shock every time I return.

With all that weight on one side, how do you keep the couch from tipping?

It makes me really happy that she’s found a spot to call her own. In fact, she has two spots to call her own back, the left side and also the left side.!

If she plays her cards right she might be even be allowed on the left side.

Neiko must enjoy your scent to sleep/rest so high on your side of the couch. I am glad she is gaining weight, as long as it is a healthy weight gain.
