OK, that’s obviously an AI link. But if you have not seen Filou, the singing Maltese, it’s an amusing rabbit hole to go down.

This is so cute! That little Malt with the red bowtie singing is adorable!
For some weird reason, I was fascinated by the tongue on this dog–so pink!! ๐ฌ-
Filou has dozens and dozens of songs across every genre from Edith Piaf-style French ballads to country & western. he does a great “Ring of Fire” while playing the guitar. He also does interviews. Filou is based in Switzerland of all places. It’s a totally silly thing to follow but it always brings a smile to me.

I thought maybe Reiko would sign along with the song. ๐ผ ๐ต ๐ถ

Reiko is tone deaf. And every other kind of deaf. So she has no starting point since she also cannot read the lyrics or lips. Pretty well screwed when it comes to music appreciation. But she enjoys seeing a Maltese achieve fame on social media.

Can you create little SI videos with Reiko using ASL? (Or would she use the German version?)

AW! OOH! HA! So sweet, cute, and a good day-brightening rabbit hole!
I think Dolly Parton would think this is fun! I can hear her laughter! ๐
Thank you for sharing this with us! (((HUGS))) and ๐ฉท๐ฉท for you and Queen Reiko!! ๐PS…In the past…I don’t know how long…I’ve been into the videos of dogs getting on their Doggy Day Care vans or buses to go to Day Care. (I don’t know if these are real or AI. They seem real)
I love when it’s a dog’s birthday and their mom sends treats for each of the dogs. The van driver is passing the treats out and she’s like “A cookie for the Birthday boy, Buddy, He’s 4 today. Happy Birthday, Buddy!” Then she goes on through the bus naming each dog and giving them a treat…like, “One for Fido. One for Duke. One for Bella. One for Buster. One for Milo. One for Daisy. One for Dave.” Ha! Dave! ๐ฎ That always cracks me up! ๐-
In the past 12-18 months there has been a huge explosion of animal AI generations. I usually get cats for some reason (I blame Lois) but with this post I am assured of endless dog videos. That’s OK, it’s easy to scroll past 90% and the rest are really well done and amusing. I am fascinated by how creative people can be. I’m a big AI user in lots of different ways and that includes silly entertainment like singing pets. Harmless and cute diversions.

Keep talking, Tom. I’m just churning up more cat videos to send your way. ๐ธ

Some of them are absolutely hilarious. Lots just go for the quick “cute” theme and I even ran across one that had cats seriously discussing metaphysics. As the old saying sort of goes…Humans created the most powerful educational tool in history and then devoted 60% of its capacity to cat videos.

PS…Some of the dogs have their backpacks on. Some are wearing hats. It’s a hoot!!!!!!!!! ๐

The dog videos I watch are at least 4 years old.
Type in “Dogs getting on day care bus”…some should pop up on YouTube…watch one and tell me if you think its IRL or AI. HA! Or if you just want a laugh. ๐

Oh, it is really me…and I’m not Anonymous!

So well done. Thanks for sharing a beautiful remembrance of a wonderful hooman being.

I think Dolly was probably the most beloved figure of my lifetime. I sure thought she was a terrific person on so many levels. She had a sense of humor that always cracked me up, too. I guess Filou thought so, too and that’s why he sang, even with his Maltese accent.

Instagram, what’s that…?
-
Instagram can be found in most all 1st world countries. That’s probably why you are unfamiliar with it in Edinburgh and its surroundings. For most, it is an enormous time sink that starts out with the good intention of just catching up with friends and ends up being hours wasted on things like watching Maltese dogs singing Dolly Parton songs. I am sure that somewhere out there in the Instagram ecoverse is a Scotty dog singing Nancy Whisky and The Parting Glass.

Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for honoring Dolly through Reiko.
Love to hear from ya
